What it does
Answer With This gives you a small prompt for your next phone call. It can be funny, useful, or just enough to make an ordinary call a little more interesting.
Use it when you call someone
Open the app before calling and get a challenge or reminder for the conversation.
Use it when someone calls you
On supported Android phones, Answer With This can show your selected prompt while the phone is ringing. This is optional and requires Android permissions. The app still works manually without them.
Privacy / Local-first
No account. No backend. No cloud database. Your challenges, reminders, and settings stay on your device.
Challenges
Sometimes the best call prompt is just a small challenge to sneak into the conversation.
- Ask if they think fish get thirsty.
- Say the word aubergine at least twice.
- You are not allowed to say the word yes.
- Mention that tiny spoons are underrated.
Reminders
It can also be practical. Keep the one thing you did not want to forget visible before or during the call.
- Ask Dad about the trailer.
- Remind Johan about the invoice.
- Bring up the thing you promised not to forget.
Platform note: Android
Optional call overlay mode can show the prompt while the phone rings. This depends on supported Android behavior and user-enabled permissions.
Platform note: iPhone
Manual mode still works. Open the app before or during a call. iOS does not support the same incoming-call overlay behavior.
