Dennis Axelsson

Front-end technology is moving rapidly, and one has to keep up with the latest technologies. I am Dennis Axelsson, a professional software developer since 2013, specializing in Java and Typescript.

I work with Typescript, React, Apollo (GraphQL), and Redux on the frontend, and Typescript, Apollo (GraphQL), and Express on the backend.

I studied Technical Math (Master of Science) at the Faculty of Engineering LTH at Lund University. My passion for programming took off during this period and has continued to grow.

Outside of work, I enjoy sports and music. I’ve played piano for most of my life and competed in semi-professional football during my studies.

I’m a father of two. I enjoy football, padel, tennis, watching sports, and making piano music.

Built the entire platform for a nationwide sports rental service: full-stack architecture, mobile apps, IoT integration, and cloud infrastructure.

Frontend Developer – AstraZeneca

2020

Delivered high-speed React tooling integrated with Swagger-documented APIs. Focus on rapid delivery and UI excellence.

System Architect – Stena Line

2018 – 2020

Co-led development of a new freight booking platform replacing a bunch of legacy systems. Introduced modern React + GraphQL architecture and frontend leadership.

System Developer – Etraveli Group

2013 – 2018

Modernized frontend architecture: migrated from Java MVC to React, introduced GraphQL gateway, and improved automated testing strategy.
