The app stores your challenges, app settings, language choice, active challenge selection, and random challenge settings locally on your device.

This data is used only to make the app work.

Answer With This does not require an account and does not use a backend or cloud database.

We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.

We do not upload your challenges, reminders, contacts, call history, or phone numbers to a server.

On Android, the app can optionally use call identification or call screening functionality so Android can notify the app when a phone call is ringing.

If enabled, the app may receive call-related information that Android makes available to call screening apps, such as the incoming phone number where permitted by Android and the device manufacturer.

This information is used locally on your device to show the selected challenge or reminder while the phone is ringing. It is not uploaded, sold, shared, or used for advertising.

The app can also request permission to display over other apps. This is used only to show the call prompt card over the Android call screen.

These Android call features are optional. The app also works manually without them.

The app works offline and does not require internet.

The current app does not use a backend service for user accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, or remote storage.

We do not share user data with third parties.

Your challenges and settings remain on your device until you edit them, delete them, clear the app data, or uninstall the app.

Because the app does not have accounts or cloud storage, there is no server-side account or cloud data to delete.

The app is not designed for children and should not be submitted as targeted at children unless the product and policy work is updated for that audience.

We may update this privacy policy as the app changes. The updated version should be published at the same privacy policy URL.
